Why Are Moral Hierarchies Different Now Than in the Renaissance

I think that hierarchies change through time because morals evolve. Society is dynamic and changes all the time. Our morals evolve with us. For instance some people now would add other things like family or career. Survival skills are importent to some people. I guess it probably is all dependant on how you live and where you grow up.
